This tool is a great thing to have if you work out of your truck if you are using either your 12V or 20V platforms.
The only real draw back is the charge time is slow compared to the DCB206 charger. For example the DCB206 charges the 6AH DCB206 battery in ~90 mins on a 110V outlet. Where this car charger can only load a the 3AH DCB200 battery in about the same time frame. So by no means it the most time efficient charger DeWalt offers. But that being said….
It Is Ideal For….
Making sure you have a full charge on the way to a site
OR
Making sure you have a back up with you if you end up somewhere with no power and you need a charge.
